Ready, Aye, Ready!

"When the call comes, our answer goes at once, and it goes in the
classical language of the British call to duty, 'Ready, Aye, Ready!'"

This website is intended to be a reference guide to the Canadian armed forces of the Great War, and is meant for the green recruit as well as the hardened trench veteran.

Please Note: This site is hosted on Geocities, which many people, including myself, have no great love for. But war breeds strange allies, and I ask that you bear with the pop-up windows, as I refuse to clutter up my pages with Geoguides. Users of older browsers, Netscape 2.01 for instance, will notice that pop-up windows do not appear on their browsers. If you wish to visit this (and many other) sites without the hassle of pop-up windows, please find yourself an older browser to view them with.

Welcome to General Headquarters, CEF on the Web! Here, you can find an ever-growing number of interesting articles and facts, all pertaining to that massive and catastrophic conflict that forged the nation of Canada we know today.

Veteran visitors should go to the News Page so they can find out about the latest updates to this site. New recruits, on the other hand, should report directly to the Trench Guide to get their bearings and find out where to find the information they want.
